1. What Taxi Bandhu is
Taxi Bandhu is a network for taxi drivers. Drivers can post and accept duties, share extra duties with other drivers, chat, and receive updates and broadcasts from the operator.
Taxi Bandhu is a platform that connects drivers. Unless clearly stated in the app, we are not a party to the arrangements drivers make with each other or with their passengers.
2. Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must be a professional driver who is legally allowed to drive the vehicle you register, with the licences, permits and insurance the law requires.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or OTP with anyone.
3. Your account and verification
- Give true, complete and current information: your name, mobile number, vehicle details and documents.
- The operator may check your details and documents before you can use some features.
- Keep your details up to date, including your insurance expiry date. We send reminders before your insurance expires, but keeping valid insurance is your responsibility.
- You are responsible for what happens on your account.
4. Posting and accepting duties
- Post only real duties with correct details.
- Accept a duty only if you can do it. If you cannot, cancel it in the app as early as possible.
- Drive safely and follow all traffic, transport and tax laws.
- Treat passengers and other drivers with respect.
5. Payments
Some duties may be paid. Payments in the app are processed by Razorpay. Only the operator collects payments through the app. We do not store your card or UPI details. Fees, if any, are shown in the app before you pay. Refunds, if any, follow the rules shown in the app at the time of payment.
6. What you must not do
- Give false information or pretend to be someone else.
- Harass, abuse, threaten or cheat other drivers or passengers.
- Send spam, illegal content or content that is hateful or obscene.
- Collect other drivers' data for any use outside the app.
- Try to hack, copy, overload or misuse the app or its systems.
- Break any law while using the app.
7. Chat and broadcasts
Chat is for talking about duties and work. Chat messages are deleted automatically after a period set by the operator. The operator may send broadcasts and service messages, such as reminders. Offers are sent only if you agreed to marketing.
8. Suspension and ending your account
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, give false information, or put others at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Delete account) or on our Delete account page. You cannot delete your account while you have an open duty. Deletion is permanent.
9. Our app and content
The Taxi Bandhu name, logo and app belong to the operator. You may use the app only for its intended purpose. You keep ownership of the content you add, and you allow us to use it to run the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep the app running, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. We do not guarantee any number of duties or earnings. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by other drivers, passengers, or events outside our control.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and tell you in the app about important changes. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms. Where the law requires, we will ask you to accept them again.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city] will have jurisdiction.
